After the cancellation of RHS Chelsea 2020, we worked with the Burdett Trust for Nursing as their garden, designed to celebrate the bicentenary of Florence Nightingale’s birth and raise the profile of nursing as a profession, was finally unveiled earlier this year. Designed by Robert Myers and built by Bowles & Wyer, the garden was designed to celebrate Florence Nightingale’s contribution to modern-day nursing using architectural design and modern, sustainable materials to represent her enduring reforms in hospital construction and vibrant planting to highlight the importance of green spaces for health and recovery.
